If you dont get Gameinformer magazine, or unless you go to their website. You probably didnt't notice their cover story on the sequel to the launch title for the PS3. It was a good launch title much needed by Sony to get PS3's to sell but overall it was a very good game with solid gameplay and graphics. Resistance 2 dosen't seem to disapoint, the screenshots provided in the cover story reveal great ditail in the character models. Gameplay and action from top-to-bottom was defenatly on the mind of Insomniac Games, as they seriously bumped up the numbers:
- 60 player matches
- 8 player co-op
- (not one, but) 2 full campaing modes
Also stated in the cover story that they "want to break things up and include these monsterous bosses" plus with the addition of vehiacles such as a battle walker named "goliath" like the Dark walkers in UT3, it makes Resistance 2 look pretrty amazing.
Now the question here is still the same as it was over a year ago,
Is this the PS3's killer app?
Gameinformer thinks so quoting:
